Canoeing in Thailand may be done in any bodies of running water be it on the river and especially on the sea.  A kayak, defined as a small canoe, is the best mode of water vehicle to experience eco-tourism at par excellence as well as the benefits of the natural approach.  Riding and paddling quietly, your sense of awareness heightens.  More so with the unobtrusive approach, wildlife remains as they are normally.  Canoeing is deemed as one of the most excitable physical challenge which provides an aerobic workout as well as tones and develops your arms, shoulders and chest.

Although canoes are easy to handle and all safety equipment is provided, it is best to get instructions first. Never ever venture out on a long adventure without a guide. Canoeing expeditions are running all year round, although the rains from June to October can inhibit operations. There is no age limit for participation, but travelers should be able to swim.
