Thailand Diving    

Diving has garnered several interests from both local and international tourists in Thailand as the country boasts of next to perfect dive sites, which are considered as one of the best in the world!  On discovering the underwater realm in Thailand, divers have several destination options to choose from.  First of which is the Andaman Sea where destinations such as Krabi, Phi Phi and Phang Nga are located; second is the Gulf of Thaialnd for destinations such as Koh Samui, Koh Pha-Ngan, Kah Tao; and lastly the East Coast for Koh Chang, Koh Mak, and Koh Kood.   To be more specific, diving enthusiasts may explore Similan and Surin Islands, Koh Racha, Koh Samui, Koh Phang-ngan, Koh Tao and Koh James Bond.

Clear waters, self-sufficient and lively underwater realm, high standard services in relatively inexpensive charges which include transportation and live aboard accommodation.  A profound and exciting experience among the manta rays, whale sharks, marlins, flying fish, dolphins and coral reefs, interested parties may scuba dive, snorkel, or even take diving courses in PADI accredited schools.  Diving licenses are as well issued and may be used anywhere in the world. 

Having reservations on doing this activity?  Fear not.  Diving instructors and guides are very capable and are certified.  As long as divers follow the instructions, under the sea diving dangers are reduced to a zero.  Moreover, diving is not a very costly activity and is easy to learn.  Most schools offers free “bubble blowers” course on a pool for those who are over eight years old.  The entire diving course for a day is to a minimum of around $100 USD; while the entire 4-day Full Open Water PADI course is about $250 USD.  People age 12 up may qualify for the PADI certification for as long as he/she has very good medical conditions.
