Adrenaline pumping, excitement, danger, and oneness with nature, rock climbing has long become an activity that exudes total excitement in Thailand.  Blessed with extremely challenging steep and craggy limestone cliffs, this activity stirs so much energy from both climber enthusiasts and first-timers coming from different sides of the world. 

Over a thousand routes all over the country especially in the southern place, Krabi, Thailand has been a climber’s scaling heaven since a long time ago.  These routes lead to dangerous but totally adventurous of steep and rough limestone paths, pocketed walls, overhangs and hanging stalactites.   Some spots are only accessed through the waters aboard a boat; while there are others can be reached venturing a jungle path; or even rappelling above the sea.  Routes also range from beginner, to multi-pitch, and of course extreme.  

Rock climbing may be more dangerous during the country rainy season as wet rocks and cliffs could be very, very slippery but beginners and more experienced climbers are more than welcome to take the challenge.  Instructors and guides are at disposal from resorts and accommodation.  Climbing gears may be hired as well but of average quality.  Shops are available for purchase of class-A equipment.
