The regions within Phuket with Phi Phi Islands - Krabi - Phang Nga Bay - Similan Islands - Surin Islands as destination highlights is in the east and northwest.  Stunning sailing grounds covers the horizon and literally hundreds of anchorages, hidden coves and uninhabited beaches and islands beneath towering limestone cliffs and an ecosystem of marine life.  Phi Phi is one of the most recommended spots for an all year round yacht cruising.  Lastly, beyond Phuket through the Malacca Straits rests another vibrant city, Singapore. 

Yacht clubs and regattas are as well quite a popular activity in the country.  To name a few, there are Phang Nga Bay Rally, Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, Koh Samui International Rally, and Andaman Sea Rally.
